Leshok & Popova Shapka

Friday, 28.08.2009, the holiday- St. Mother of God, destination- village Leshok (near Tetovo), and the winter ski center Popova Shapka, on the Shara mauntain.
The group gathered in Tetovo. Our host- Dragan, from the club Sharplaninci, awaited us as always, with a smile on his face
Then we were heading to the v. Leshok, where the holiday of St. Mother of God is celebrated, with various events in the yard of the local monastery St. Atanasij, also known as the Leshok monastery.


























After a nice walk trough the village, and a (more or less) decent meal, we decided to use the day and visit one more beautiful place near Tetovo- the winter tourist center Popova Shapka, and enjoy our caffee with a view on the ski terrains






























And so, another day has ended and another destination was added to our motorbike adventures.
